Presented Artists
米国よりビジュアルアーティストのジェロッド・パートリッジさんをお迎えして、GRACE ART WEEKを開催いたします。
来日中に、日本にて滞在制作。クルミから抽出されたインクで描かれたドローイング、手作りの和紙に描かれた水彩や油彩など、様々な作品を発表します。10月5日（金）、10月6日（土）にはギャラリー展示を開催し、パフォーマンスイベントを開催。ギャラリーで展示された作品は、その場で販売し、売上の30%をチャリティ献金。ジェロッドさんとのトークイベントも開催します。

ジェロッド・パートリッジ
プロフィール
ジェロッドは、描画、水彩画、油絵を制作したり、教育やワークショップを主催。アートスペース86を所有し、アートを通じてコミュニティを豊かにする活動を精力的に展開。2013年以降、毎年、夏にイタリアのトスカーナでビジュアル探検ツアーを指揮し、そこで描画と絵画講座を開催。ニューヨーク芸術アカデミーで美術修士号、ミシシッピ大学でグラフィックデザインの学士号を取得。イギリス、ロンドンで学んだ経験もあり、ミシシッピ芸術委員会のビジュアルアーツフェローシップの2011年の受賞者。2017年にミシシッピ大学で年間最優秀卒業生に選出。現在、妻と3人の子ども達と一緒に米国ミシシッピ州オーシャンスプリング在住。

Biography:
Jerrod Partridge makes his living through drawing, watercolor, and oil paintings, teaching, and leading workshops. He is the owner and co-creator of Art Space 86, enriching communities through the arts. He has been leading Visual Explorations to Tuscany, Italy every summer since 2013, where he teaches drawing and painting. Jerrod earned his Master of Fine Arts from the New York Academy of Art and Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from Mississippi College. He has also studied in London, England. Jerrod is the 2011 recipient of the Visual Arts Fellowship from the Mississippi Arts Commission and was named Distinguished Alumnus of the Year from Mississippi College in 2017. Jerrod lives with his wife and three children in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, USA.
